AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Won the discus event during the San Diego City Championships with a personal and team season-best of 150’7”... finished 9th in the discus throw at the All-Cal Championships with a toss of 133’8”... finished 3rd in discus during the UCSD Divisional Challenge, throwing for a distance of 149’11”... throw of 135’1” was good for 16th in discus at the UCLA Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersey Invitational... recorded a 7th place finish in the discus event during the CCAA Championships, finishing with a distance of 128’2”.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Season-best discus throw of 120’8” was second-best Triton mark of the season.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Set career-best discus throw of 135’2” during the Pomona-Pitzer meet.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Walnut High School in Walnut, Calif... helped team to San Antonio League Championship in 2004 and runner-up place in 2003... set statistical bests of 42’ in the shot put and 144’ in the discus events.
PERSONAL: Born April 8, 1986... parents are Kin Wa and Jenny Ng... has two younger sisters named Janet and Katherine... is a Biology major with an emphasis on Ecology, Behavioral, and Evolution at Eleanor Roosevelt College... career goal is to become a Marine Biologist.
