AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010: Top 20 finisher in the 1500 during the San Diego Collegiate Championships... Finished just outside the top 10 in the 3000 with a time of 11:13.15 at the Triton Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Haddonfield Memorial High
School in Haddonfield, New Jersey… Won four state championships in a row as
part of cross country team… 2005 All-Group South Jersey honoree… Recorded
statistical bests of 18:44 on the 5k course, 5:11 in 1600m, 2:24 in the 800m,
and 11:35 in the 3200m event.
PERSONAL: Born July 12, 1990… Parents are Jeff and Teresa
Sikkema… Has two older sisters named Elizabeth and Kaitlyn and a younger
brother named Jacob… Biology major and Spanish minor in Marshall College… Roots
for the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies… Aspires to become an oceanographer
and travel world, scuba diving and exploring.
