AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008: Placed ninth in the 5000M at the CCAA Championship with a time of 15:40.15 and sixth in the 10000M with a time of 32:47.20... At the UCSD Triton Invitational placed 19th in the 5000 with a time of 15:50.11... Placed ninth in the 3000M at the All-Cal Challenge Cup... At the Rossi Relays placed 20th in the 3000M with  a time of 9:09.03... Placed 43rd in the 400M at the Beach Invitational with a time of 4:15.02... At the UCSD Divisional Challenge finished fourth in the 3000M with a time of 9:03.04.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007: Finished seventh in the 3000 during the UCSD Divisional Challenge with a time of 9:01.17... Posted season-best mark and third-best season mark for the Tritons in the 5000 at the UCSD Triton Invitational, with time of 15:11.05 good for a 13th place finish... Time of 15:21.37 was good for 11th place finish in the 5000 during the CCAA Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate with honors from Los Gatos High School in Los Gatos, Calif... Ran cross country and track for coach Tommy Newman... Helped team to a DeAnza League championship as a senior and a fourth place finish as a junior... Team finished fourth in the Central Coast Section as a senior and ninth as a junior... Was an all-league performer as a junior and senior while also pulling down team Co-MVP honors as a senior... Was the varsity captain as a junior and senior on the track squad... Earned team MVP honors in track as a senior... Received the State of California Assembly Scholastic Achievement Award for Academic Excellence in 2004... Was a California Scholarship Federation Seal Bearer and a National Merit Finalist as a senior... Also a member of the UCSD cross country team who competed in four events with the team in 2005... Helped the Tritons to a third place finish at the CCAA Championships, crossing the finish line in a time of 27:40, finishing 37th overall.

PERSONAL: Born December 31, 1985 in San Francisco, Calif... Parents are John and Carol Geldman... Has one older sister named Megan... Majoring in Computer Engineering at Warren College on the UCSD campus... Enjoys playing the piano in his spare time.
