AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007: Finished First in the pole vault event at the San Diego City Championships with a height of 14’7.25”... posted second place finish in pole vault event during UCSD Divisional Challenge at 14’8”... Finished sixth in pole vault during the CCAA Championships... Season-best height of 15’ was best among Tritons.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006: Fourth place finisher in the pole vault at the CCAA Championships. Achieved a career-best, season-best, and sixth best all-time mark for UCSD at the Rafer Johnson/UCLA Invitational with a height of 15’3” in the pole vault.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Vacaville High School in Vacaville, Calif... Finished in first place in the pole vault at the Clark Massey Relay... Also played for the Vacaville Mustangs Competitive Soccer team in 1999 and 2000.
PERSONAL: Born December 23, 1986... Parents are Todd and Linnea Dischinger... Has an older sister named Shannon... Is a Structural Engineering major at Revelle College... Enjoys fishing, video games, surfing, and movies in his spare time.
