AS A JUNIOR IN 2010: ABCA All-America Third Team... Daktronics All-America Second Team... ABCA National Gold Glove winner... ABCA All-West Region First Team... NCBWA All-West Region Honorable Mention... All-CCAA Second Team... Recorded 18 multi-hit games... Was one of four Tritons to blast the team high eight home runs... On the bases he was perfect, successfully stealing a base in all of his 10 attempts (10-of-10)... Logged a 10 game hit streak in which he hit three home runs.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009: Started 46 of UCSD's 51 games behind the plate... Led the Tritons with 12 home runs... Had a .996 fielding percentage... Hit a game-tying homer in the ninth inning against Sonoma State in the CCAA title game... The Tritons would win the crown later in the same inning... Recorded eight multi-hit games and went 7-for-18 (.383) at the NCAA West Regional... Had a two, home run game at CSU San Bernardino on Apr. 25.
AS A FRESHMAN AT PALOMAR COLLEGE IN 2008: Played in 29 games with 20 starts at catcher and/or designated hitter... Had three doubles, a triple, two home runs and 11 RBI.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Rancho Buena Vista HS in Vista, Calif.... Baseball team made two postseason appearances...
