Biography
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007: Recorded a season-best in the long jump during the All-Championships with a leap of 17’6.75”, finishing 7th in the event... also posted a 5th place finish in the triple jump at the All-Cal Championships with a career-best mark of 37’8.75” that ranks 7th in UCSD history... finished 5th in the triple jump with a distance of 37’2.25” during the San Diego City Championships... finished 5th in the long jump and 2nd in the triple jump during the UCSD Divisional Challenge... recorded 5th place finish in the long jump and 6th place finish in the triple jump during the CCAA Championships.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006: Finished 8th in the long jump and the triple jump during the Rafer Johnson/UCLA Invitational... notched top-5 UCSD marks in both events, finishing with the fifth best mark in the long jump with a distance of 17’2” and the fourth best mark in the triple jump with a distance of 35’5.25”.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Rocklin High School in Rocklin, Calif... personal bests of 36’11” in the triple jump and 17’2” in the long jump in high school... helped team to a Women’s League Championship in 2004 and a second-place finish in their sub-section.
PERSONAL: Born August 12, 1986... parents are Bryan and Noreen King... has two younger sisters named Breann and Cailee... is a Psychology major in Eleanor Roosevelt College... aspires to become a psychologist.
