Biography
AS A JUNIOR IN 2011: Competed in the Rossi Relays where he finished 3rd in the 3000m run with a time of 8:52.33 ... Took second in the 800m (1:58.72) at the San Diego Collegiate Challenge, where he also competed in the 1500m, finishing third with a final time of 4:01.14 ... Competed in the All-Cal Challenge 1500m event (3:58.92), earning him a sixth place finish ... Finished in 16th place in the 1500m (4:02.15) during the Cal-Nevada Championships.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2010: Captured third place in the 1500 with a time of 3:56.61 at the CCAA Championships... His time of 1:57.52 in the 800 was good enough for second place during the San Diego Collegiate Championships.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009: Fifth-place in the 1500 event during
the San Diego City Championships… Time of 9:08 good for eighth overall at
Mangrum Invitational in 3000 event… Finished fifth in 1500 during quad meet
with Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Dominguez Hills, and San Diego State.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara, Calif... Was a member of the top academic track team in Calif... Set the school record at the three-mile distance... Ran personal bests of 1:59 in the 800 meters, 4:22 in the 1-mile, and 15:20 in the 3-mile... All-League and CIF qualifier.
PERSONAL: Born on December 27, 1989... Parents are Mark and Judy Corliss... Has three older siblings; Katie, Stacie and Jeff.... Katie ran cross country at UC Berkeley... Majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Sixth College... Hobbies include running, hiking and hanging out with friends.
