AS A SENIOR IN 2011: Appeared as a substitute in a team-high 37 contests in 2011, scoring 12 runs in 41 total appearances... Made three appearances at the NCAA Division II Sofball Championships... Tallied a hit as a pinch hitter against Humboldt State on March 5... Scored a run in four of seven appearances between March 5 and April 2.

AS A JUINIOR IN 2010: Earned the starting nod in 21 of 47 games in which she appeared, coming on as a pinch runner in 13 contests... Recorded 14 runs on 10 hits in 52 total plate appearances... Stole a career-high five bases in seven attempts... Tallied 18 putouts in 19 chances in the field... Had hits in back-to-back games against Cal State Dominguez Hills, Apr. 2-3.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009: Appeared in 42 of UCSD's 55 games and started in 15 of those contests... Collected nine hits in 48 at bats while scoring 13 runs and adding four RBI... Adept on the base paths, she entered 15 games as a pinch runner... Went two-for-four at the plate against San Francisco State on Feb. 14... Batted .267 with runners in scoring position.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008:  Appeared in nine games in her rookie campaign, batting .200 with two putouts.  

HIGH SCHOOL:  A 2007 graduate of Mayfair High School in Lakewood, Calif... Helped team to a second place finish in the Suburban League... Earned First Team All-Suburban League honors after batting .406 as a senior... Played club softball for the California Pride in 2005 and 2006, helping team advance to the national tournament in her final season with the team.

PERSONAL:  Born Dec. 12, 1988... Parents are Rob and Jayne Gaylord... Has two younger siblings named Dylan and Ryan... Is a Psychology major in Revelle College... Enjoys playing volleyball, hanging out with friends and going to the beach in her spare time... Favorite pro sports team is the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and favorite athlete is Chone Figgins.
