AS A JUNIOR IN 2008:  Started in all but one game in her third season at UCSD... One of the top hitters on the team, she batted .305 with seven doubles, two home runs and drove in 27 runs... Went 2-for-3 with a run scored, a double and a triple against Humboldt State on February 1... Hit a grand slam, scored twice and had a stolen base against San Francisco State on April 26... Has hit a total of seven homers in her career, which is the seventh highest total in school history... A legitimate five-tool player; she stole 17 bags, had a slugging percentage of .411, and posted one of the top fielding percentages on the team at .968.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007:  One of three players to start all 62 games in 2007... Batted .266 with 21 runs scored and 18 RBI... 11 of her 42 hits went for extra bases, including six doubles and three home runs... Walked 15 times and had nine sacrifice bunts on the year... Tallied 12 multi-hit games... Went 3-for-4 with three RBI in the first game of a doubleheader at Cal State Monterey Bay on March 17... Stole nine bases in 12 attempts... Went a combined 4-for-6 with two runs scored and a RBI in the doubleheader sweep of Cal State San Marcos on April 28... Had two hits in the NCAA D-II West Regional on May 11 and 12.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006:  Started 11 of the 26 games she played in during her rookie season on the La Jolla campus... Batted .211 with 10 runs scored and six RBI on the year... Notched eight hits in 38 at-bats, clubbing one double and two home runs... All eight hits came in eight different contests... Scored two runs on two occasions, the first coming in the victory over Chaminade while the other came in the home win over Cal State San Bernardino... First collegiate home run came at Cal Baptist on March 15... Also hit a round-tripper in the April 1 win over Chaminade... Did not make any errors or have any assists but did add 11 putouts on the season.

HIGH SCHOOL:  A 2005 graduate of Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, Calif... Lettered in softball, playing for coach Dick Amberik... Helped team to four-straight CIF playoff appearances... Was a four-year Scholar-Athlete... Earned Second Team All-Area honors as awarded by the Daily Breeze... Was a member of the California Scholarship Federation... Played in the Manhattan Beach Marching Band and Wind Ensemble and was named the Best Marcher in 2002... Played club softball for Team Explotion that won an International tournament in Australia in 2003 and placed first at the Western Nationals in Utah in 2003.

PERSONAL:  Born July 12, 1987 in Santa Monica, Calif... Parents are Steve and Cathy May... Is an International Studies and Literature major at Roosevelt College... Enjoys playing music, cooking and going to the beach in her spare time.
