Most memorable softball moment: “One of my most memorable moments competing in softball was making it to postseason with my college team during my freshman year. It was huge because it was the very first year that postseason was even a thing, and I was so happy to be part of it. Being able to start in those games after working hard all year made it even more special. Doing well in the Big West tournament, traveling with my teammates, playing in front of big crowds, and feeling all that energy made the experience unforgettable.”
Most Memorable UCSD moment: “I would probably say my favorite UCSD moment was finding my best friends here and getting to go to the beach with them all the time. Being at UCSD has been great because being in San Diego, my hometown, has allowed me to stay close to my family and have my friends visit me on campus, which makes the experience even more special.”
Career plans: “After graduating from UCSD, my career goals are still a bit open. I’m not exactly sure what I want to do yet, but there are a few paths I’m really interested in exploring. I’ve always thought about joining the military and applying to become an officer because I think it would be a great opportunity for growth and discipline for my future. Another option I’ve considered is working in border patrol, especially since I live near the border and have family members in that field who have shared their experiences with me. Lastly, I’ve also been looking into becoming a radiologist. The medical field has always interested me, and I think being a radiologist could be a great career path that combines my interest in healthcare with a stable and rewarding job.”
