HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Ayala HS where he earned first-team All-League honors in 2006 and 2007... earned first-team All-CIF division II honors in 2006 and named All-CA/HI 8th-team in 2007... in 2007, the water polo team advanced to the DIII semifinals and in 2006 the DIII quarterfinals... also earned a bronze medal at the 18&U Florida International Tournament... top swimming times include a 50 free of 24.2, a 100 free of 51.9, a 200 free of 1:54.5 and 500 free of 5:26... also participated with the Chino Hills Area Water Polo for seven years.

PERSONAL: Born January 4, 1991... parents are Craig and Kim James... parents are graudates of Cal State Fullerton... has two siblings named Katie and Keaton... an undeclared Sciences major in Muir College... hobbies include going to the beach and spending time with friends.
