AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Played in three matches for the Tritons in '07, going 3-0 in singles play and 1-0 in doubles action... all three of his singles matches were played at the No. 6 spot on the ladder while he teamed with Kazumi Negishi for a loss at No. 3 doubles in his only tandem action.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Did not see any action on the court for the Tritons in 2006.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Posted a 1-1 singles record during his first season the UCSD campus... played both matches at the No. 6 spot on the ladder... played only one doubles match during his freshman season and picking up a win with former Triton Will Phan in the No. 3 position.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Banning High School in Banning, Calif... lettered in football, basketball and tennis... played tennis for head coach Mark Kline... posted a 62-1 singles record his senior year, en route to De Anza League MVP honors.

PERSONAL: Born August 2, 1985 in Redlands, Calif... parents are Greg and Kathryn Whitmore... has one younger sibling named Deidre and one older sibling named Travis... is a Mechanical Engineering major at John Muir College... enjoys dirt bike riding in his spare time... aspires to build his own car company.
