As a Junior in 2008: Earned minutes in 10 matches... recorded his first collegiate start as a Triton on Sept. 5 in a 2-0 win over Cal State San Marcos... logged his first shot Oct. 25 against Seattle Pacific.

Previous School: Transferred to UCSD from Irvine Valley College... helped the Lasers advance to the Southern California Regional playoffs during both seasons he competed.

High School: A 2005 graduate of Logos High School in Moscow, Idaho... helped soccer team to a league championship his senior year while earning All-League First Team honors... also lettered in basketball, helping the squad to the winningest season in program history as a senior.

Personal: Born Feb. 12, 1987... parents are Dave and Mary Gressard... his father was an All-American swimmer at Occidental College... one of his uncles, John Gressard, wrestled competitvely at UCSD... has two younger siblings, Stephen and Maggie... is an Ecology, Behavior and Evolution major at Marshall College... aspires to go to veterinary school at UC Davis... enjoys playing basketball, hiking and fishing in his free time.
