HIGH SCHOOL: A 2003 graduate of nearby Point Loma High School... was awarded the Golden Boot award for scoring the most goals in 2000... helped team to CIF Finals appearances during sopohomore, junior and senior seasons... was a member of the National Championship squad with the Cal-South Olympic Development State team.

PERSONAL: Born January 26, 1985... parents are John and Albina Moreira... has one younger bother named Matthew who plays soccer for Cal State Northridge... is an Economics major at Revelle College... enjoys body surfing, going to movies and concerts and fishing in his spare time.
