Brett Jones

Returning to the UC San Diego men's soccer program, Brett Jones joins the staff in 2024 as an assistant coach.

The 2020 UC San Diego graduate and All-American returns to the program with two seasons of professional play under his belt with Chattanooga FC and multiple years of coaching experience. During his time in Tennessee, Jones coached multiple academy teams and was the assistant varsity coach for Baylor School. The former Triton became UC San Diego's first All-American selection since 2015 and was named First Team All-West before he graduated with a degree in International Business. Continuing his pursuit of coaching at the highest level, the alum recently earned his US Soccer National "D" license in February 2024 and is currently working on his US Soccer National "C" to be completed in November 2024.

Jones hails from Mission Viejo, Calif. and graduated from Laguna Hills High before attending UC San Diego and Oregon State.
