AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2004: Appeared in nine matches during his second year on the La Jolla campus... first career start came in the October 6 game at home against Cal State San Bernardino... suffered a season-ending knee injury in that start against CSUSB... had four assists prior to his injury which ranked him in a tie for fourth place on the team in points... took nine shots, including three at home against San Francisco State on October 3... first career assists came at Cal State Bakersfield in the Tritons’ 1-0 win on September 19... added an assist in the 6-1 win over Cal Poly Pomona on the road on September 25... had back-to-back games with an assist on October 3 and October 6... the October 3 assist helped the Tritons to a 2-1 victory over San Francisco State at home while the October 6 assist came in the 2-1 loss at Cal State San Bernardino in which he suffered his injury.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2003: Made eight appearances as a rookie, taking one shot... team was 6-2-0 in the matches he appeared in, outscoring opponents by a 19-10 margin... made first collegiate appearance in the Tritons’ 3-0 victory over Azusa Pacific on September 3... was on the field for two team shutouts, the first against Azusa Pacific, the second against Chapman University at home on October 20, winning by a 1-0 score.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2003 graduate of Stockdale High School in Bakersfield, Calif... played soccer and ran cross country for coaches Troy Lynch, Matt Barnes and Brandon Herron... led team to the CIF Valley Championship and the SWYL Championship... was named the Most Valuable Offensive Player by his teammates in addition to his SWYL Offensive MVP accolades... was a team captain... was the Senior Class President and the treasurer of the Key Club... was the school’s Valedictorian... volunteered for the Special Olympics and MARE Service.
