Biography
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of York Community High School in Elmhurst, Ill.… Led his cross country team to three straight state championships from 2004-06 and a runner-up finish in 2007… Clocked in at 14:55 in the three mile… Was also a member of the track and field team at YCHS, winning the state championship in the 4x800 in 2007… Ran with the Indiana State Running Co. in the fall of 2008 and with Mercury Running Club in the spring of 2009.
PERSONAL: Born June 1, 1990… Parents are Thomas and Jean Rizzo… Has a sister named Alicia… Is a St. Louis Cardinals fan and pulls for their star slugger Albert Pujols… Talladega Nights is his favorite movie… Winning the state title his senior year in high school is his most memorable sporting moment… Is a Psychology major in Muir College.
