HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from La Jolla High School in La Jolla, Calif... crew captain in 2000 and 2001... earned Coaches Award for Excellence in 1999 and Most Valuable Novice in 1998... led team to bronze in Men's Quad at 1999 and 2001 National Championships... also took part in the US Rowing Masters' National Rowing Championships and competed as part of the San Diego Rowing Club... part of Men's A 4x and Men's A 4+ National Champions.

PERSONAL: Born August 4, 1983... parents are Ivan Harwood and Sonja Sullivan... has an older sibling named Andrick... a General Biology major in Earl Warren College... hobbies include swimming, cycling, guitar, photography, cooking, surfing, fishing, forestry, and hiking.
