AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006-2007: Helped the novice four boat to a 3rd place finish at regional championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Pacifica High School in Garden Grove, Calif... lettered in cross country and track and field... helped his high school teams to league championships in 2002 and 2003... was named the cross country team's most valuable player and the track and field's squad "most inspirational" as a sophomore.

PERSONAL: Parents are Delano and Catherine Melikian... has a brother named Gregory... a Mechanical Engineering major from Muir College... enjoys surfing, skiing, camping and hunting.
