High School: A 2007 graduate of Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, Calif... member of crew and the mountain biking club... rowed for the Marin Rowing Association during his junior and senior years... participated in the Southwest Junior Rowing Championships in May 2006 and 2007, the Junior National Championships in June 2006, and the Sea Otter Classic in 2005.

Personal: Born Feb. 6, 1989... parents are Jeff Gordon and Sally Carlson, both of whom attended UC Berkeley... has three sisters, Daanika, Alicia and Mandy... an Economics major and Urban Studies and Planning minor in Thurgood Marshall College... enjoys playing ultimate Frisbee in his free time... favorite pro sports teams are the San Francisco 49ers and the San Francisco Giants.
