At Orange Coast College: Competed for OCC from 2005 to 2008 and helped squad finish as the 2006 WIRA Overall Team Points leader and freshman eight champions.

High School: A 2005 graduate of Branham High School in San Jose, Calif... spent two years as part of the men's novice and lightweight eights at the Los Gatos Rowing Club.

Personal: Born Jan. 8, 1987... parents are Randy and Kathy Burden... has a younger brother named Michael... a Psychology major in Sixth College... enjoys listening to music, snowboarding, bodyboarding and reading in his free time... aspires to become a clinical psychologist... favorite pro sports teams are the San Diego Chargers, Oakland Athletics and Los Angeles Lakers.
