Andrew Garrow was named a volunteer assistant coach for the UC San Diego men's rowing team in 2021.
Prior to his time coaching, Garrow competed for the Tritons from 2018-20. In his first season at UC San Diego, Garrow helped the Third Varsity 8 to a first place finish as the Tritons swept the WIRA Championships, as well as another top finish during UC San Diego's sweep of the Western Sprints. The following year, Garrow competed with the Tritons in the fall before the spring was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before his time at UC San Diego, Garrow rowed for Orange Coast College from 2016-18. Garrow competed with the squad at the world-renowned Henley Royal Regatta in 2018.
