Biography

 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008: Took part in three events on the year… Turned in an impressive performance at the SDSU Aztec Invitational, finishing 15th overall in the Open run with a time of 20:20… Finished 28th in the season opener with Point Loma, USD, and UNLV, crossing the finish line with a final time of 17:12.4.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007:
Ran in three events during her rookie campaign at UCSD… Finished 26th overall in the dual meet with Point Loma Nazarene, clocking in at 17:43.2… Placed 93rd overall and 16th on the squad at the UC Irvine Invitational with a time of 21:04.70… Completed the Triton Classic with a mark of 26:49.4, good enough for 88th overall.

HIGH SCHOOL:
A 2007 graduate of Thousand Oaks High School, where she was an All-Ventura County selection in cross country… Also competed in track in high school… Helped cross country team to the Division I State Championship, a second place in CIF Southern Section, and Marmonte League Championship in 2005… A Scholar Athlete at TOHS… Recorded statistical bests of 2:28 in the 800, 5:20 in the 1600, 11:40 in the 3200, 18:30 in the three mile and 19:37 in the 5k… Also a member of the Raditude Running Club before coming to UCSD.

PERSONAL:
Born February 27, 1989… Parents are Stanley and Jina Su… Has an older sister Monica who ran cross country and track at the University of Hawaii and UC Santa Barbara… Enjoys going to church, hanging out with family and friends, eating, watching movies, and playing the violin… Lists Passion of the Christ, Departures, and Up as a few of her favorite flicks… Is a Biology major in Thurgood Marshall College.
