AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008: Ran in five events during his second season as a Triton… Finished 19th overall in the season opener against Point Loma and USD, crossing the finish line with a time of 23:48.0… Was the sixth-fastest UCSD runner and 21st overall at the CSUSB Coyotes Invite, clocking in at 27:18.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007: Made appearances in four events for UCSD… Kicked off his collegiate career with a 16th place finish in the Point Loma Nazarene dual meet Aug. 25… Placed 120th overall and 12th on the squad in the UC Irvine Invitational, crossing the finish line with a time of 27:38.30… Also finished 57th overall in the Triton Classic with a time of 37:01.2. 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Bishop Alemary in Mission Hills, Calif… Ran track and cross country under coach Eric Neumann… Team recorded O’Melriny Park fastest team time… Named all-league in 2005-06 and received Best Athlete in Northridge award… Selected as team MVP during junior and senior years… Nominated for CIF Athlete of the Year… Recorded statistical bests of 16:30 in the 5k, 4:29 in the 1600, and 9:50 in the 3200.
