AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Competed in four events last season beginning with a 13th overall finish in the Point Loma Nazarene dual meet to open the year... crossed the finish line with a time of 16:35.1... finished 98th overall at the UC Irvine Invitational, posting a time of 21:19.40... had a strong showing a week later when she was the 7th Triton to cross the line at the Southern Stampede... her mark of 19:38.0 was good enough for 116th overall... finished 63rd overall at the Triton Classic with a time of 25:21.6. 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Raced in four events for the Tritons during the season... finished 11th overall at the UCSD-Point Loma dual meet with a time of 17:01.8... completed the UC Irvine Invitational in a time of 21:06.8, good for 102nd overall... was the third Triton and 40th overall to complete the Aztec Invitational with a time of 21:05... finished with a time of 26:24.3 at the Triton Classic on the UCSD campus.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Ran in one race during rookie season on the La Jolla campus... posted a time of 16:45.6 in the first race of the season on the 2.5 mile par course at UCSD.

HIGH SCHOOL: Comes to UCSD from nearby Patrick Henry High School... team was four-time Eastern League Champions and two-time CIF Finalists... individually, she was the state qualifier in the 800m after winning it at the league meet... had personal bests of 2:19 in the 800m, 5:00 in the 1500m, and 5:21 in the 1600m.

PERSONAL: Born April 21, 1987... parents are Michael and Shelly Buono... is a General Biology major in Warren College... wants to attend medical school after she receives her bachelors and pursue a career as a practicing physician... when she’s not running she can usually be found swimming, hiking, shopping, or reading.
