AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007: Ran in a total of four events in her rookie season as a Triton... finished 17th overall in her first collegiate meet, notching a time of 16:39.5 in the UCSD-PLNU dual meet... was the 10th Triton to cross the finish line at the UC Irvine Invitational, placing 61st overall with a time of 19:59.20... had a strong showing at the Bob Firman Invitational two weeks later, finishing seventh on the team and 68th overall with a mark of 20:42... her time of 24:32.8 at the Triton Classic was good enough for 42nd place overall and 8th among UCSD runners.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of nearby Torrey Pines High School... ran track and cross country in high school under coach Brent Thorne... member of CIF and State Finalist team... recieved all-league first team honors... recorded statistical bests of 5:20 in the mile, 10:00 in the 3k, 19:59 in the 5k, and 11:59 in the two mile run.

PERSONAL: Born December 5, 1987 in Latrobe, Penn... parents are Phil and Kathy Andrews... has an older sister June, an older brother Larry, and a younger brother named Ben... her father ran track at Princeton... is a Biochemistry major in John Muir College... when she’s not running she cound be found reading or studying in Geisel Library.
