Biography
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007: Time of 8:56.59 in the 3000 was good for 6th during the All-Cal Championships... finished 2nd in the 1500 at the San Diego City Championships, recording season-best time of 4:02.4 that ranked third among Tritons on the year... finished 6th in the 3000 at the UCSD Divisional Challenge with time of 8:59.05... recorded time of 4:06.40 at the UCLA Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersey Invitational... finished 19th in the 5000 with season-best time of 15:48.77 at the UCSD Triton Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Shorewood High School in Shoreline, Wash... Had personal bests of 1:55.5 in the 800 meters, 4:06.0 in the 1500 meters, 4:22 in the 1600 meters and 9:48 in the 3200 meters... also a member of the UCSD men’s cross country team.
PERSONAL: Born April 29, 1986... parents are Vicki and David Klein... has one younger sister named Laura... is an Aerospace Engineering major in Revelle College... enjoys snowboarding, hiking, camping, biking and cliff jumping in his spare time.
