Biography
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2004: Ran in three of the team’s eight meets... finished 31st out of 135 runners at the UC Irvine Invitational as her time of 19:55.7 helped the Tritons to a team victory over 13 other teams that included six Division I schools... finished 11th at the UCSD Triton Invitational, crossing the finish line of the 6k race in a time of 24:40.5 and helping the team to a first place finish... helped team to a second place finish at the CCAA Championships with her 20th place finish in a time of 21:32.60.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2004 graduate of Greenhills High School in Ann Arbor, Mich... ran cross country and track for coach Josh Scully... was a member of the two time Division 4 Michigan State Champions in 2001, and 2002... team finished as the state runners-up in 2000 and 2003... earned All-State honors in 2001, 2002 and 2003... was the Division 4 State Runner Up in 2003... earned all-region honors in 2001, 2002 and 2003... set personal bests of 5:22 in the 1600m, 11:47 in the 3200m and 18:52 in the 5k.
PERSONAL: Born April 25, 1986 in New York, N.Y... parents are Allan and Judith Olson... has three older siblings named Eric, Megan and Jeanette... is a Bioengineering/Biotechnology major in Marshall College... enjoys sewing, ice skating and sledding in her spare time.
