AS A SOPOMORE IN 2010: Ran in five events on the year... Finished among UCSD's first five and placed 63rd overall at the Asics/UC Irvine Invitational with a time of 19:37.1... Her time of 23:29.9 was good enough for 15th overall at the Bronco Preview Meet… Came in 47th at the CCAA Championships in Whittier after posting a time of 23:57.6. 

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009: Took part in UCSD’ s first meet of the season, finishing 38th overall with a time of 17:57.2.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Westview High School in San Diego… Led her team to an undefeated season and Valley League title in 2008… WHS finished second at CIF and 15th at the state championships… Was named the team MVP and earned Westview’s Leadership Award… A scholar athlete award winner in 2007 and 2008.

PERSONAL: Born August 25, 1991 in Oakland, Calif.… Parents are Christopher and Nancy Kane… Has an older brother Dillon and two younger brothers Eneas and Christopher… Knitting, reading and watching movies are some of her hobbies… Pesto pasta is her all-time favorite meal… Competing at the state championships her senior year of high school is her most memorable career moment thus far… Is a Biochemistry and Cellular Biology major in Marshall College… Wants to pursue a PhD in Biochemistry after graduating from UCSD.
