HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of Dana Hills High School in Dana Point, Calif., where he helped guide the team to an Orange County Cross Country Championship as a senior... the squad went on to capture the California State Division I Championship, as well... the Dolphins claimed the South Coast League title in 2006, 2007, and 2008 while Chan was on the roster... recorded personal bests of 15:51 in the three mile and 15:57 in the 5,000 meter... also competed in track and field for DHHS and helped the team take home the county championship last season.
PERSONAL: Born May 14, 1990... parents are Ting Li and Phen Chan... has an older sister named Justine... is a Bioengineering major in Sixth College... aspires to earn a master or PhD in the field... can be found sleeping, playing soccer, kayaking, or playing ultimate frisbee in his spare time.
