2009: Did not compete during her first season at UCSD.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Dublin High School in 2009… Was a first team all-league selection on her cross country team… Also named the team’s Most Outstanding Runner and earned the Coaches Award… Competed in track and field at DHS, setting personal bests of 11:45 in the 3200 and 5:34 in the mile… An All-DFAL First Team honoree in the two mile… Participated in club basketball and swimming as a prepster.
PERSONAL: Born September 26, 1991… Parents are Robert and Janet Kaehms… Both were swimmers at Cal State East Bay… Her grandpa Frank was the defensive MVP of the 1959 Rose Bowl… Has two siblings named Megan and Bobby… Enjoys reading, writing, running on the beach, and creating things in her free time… Good Will Hunting and Lilo and Stitch are two of her favorite movies… Pulls for the Golden State Warriors… Jeremy Lin is her favorite athlete… Is a Bioengineering major in Roosevelt College… Wants to work as a lawyer some day.
