AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009: Recorded a ninth-place finish and a time of 16:01.66 in the 5000 during the Long Beach Invitational… Placed just outside the top ten with a time of 8:58.95 in the 3000 during the All-Cal Championships… Fourth-place finisher in the 1500 as part of the San Diego City Championships… Also finished fourth in the 1500 at the Mangrum Invitational with a time of 4:07.93.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008: Placed 41st in the 1500m at the UCSD Triton Invitational with a time of 4:18.52.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Bellamine College Prep in San Jose, Calif... Participated in football, basketball, track, and cross country in high school... Helped team to Second place finish at CCS Finals and 2nd place in WCAL... Earned All-League honors and San Jose Mercury News Honorable Mention... Recorded statistical bests of 15:56 in the 5k, 4:25 in the 1600, 1:59.1 in the 800, and 9:50 in the 3200.
