HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Navato High School in Navato, Calif... participated in cross country and track in high school... helped cross country team to a 17-1 record from 2005-06... part of two MCAL Championship teams and 2006 North Coast Section second-place team... named All-League in track and cross country... two-time MCAL runner-up in the 800, two-time MCAL champion in 4x400, four-time NCS Meet of Champions qualifier... named Outstanding Senior Athlete Award winner... recorded statistical bests of 2:20 in the 800, 61.8 in the 400, 5:38 in the 1600, 20:30 in the 5k, and 19:17 in the 2.9 mile course... also a member of the UCSD cross country team.
PERSONAL: Born July 29, 1989 in San Francisco, Calif... parents are Earl Carter and Victoria Harvey... has one sister named Corrina... Corrina runs for UC Irvine... a Pre-Literature/Writing major in John Muir College... would like to pursue a career in writing as a novelist, poet, or journalist.
