Biography

AS A JUNIOR IN 2005: Appeared in five games before injury shortened his season.

AT COLLEGE OF MARIN: Before coming to the UCSD campus, McDonald spent two seasons playing baseball at the College of Marin for coach Steve Rerringer... the team advanced to the playoffs in 2003.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Petaluma HS where he was a member of the baseball, soccer and football team... the baseball team won the junior varsity division championship... experience as a starting pitcher at every level.

PERSONAL: Born September 3, 1983 in San Francisco, Calif.... parents are Joe and Jane McDonald... has two siblings, Emily and Alex... a Communications major in Roosevelt College... lists hobbies as fishing, listening to music and barbecuing.
