AS A JUNIOR IN 2005: Led the team with four complete-games in his junior season... with 12 career complete-games, he is second all-time at UCSD... his 17 career wins is six behind the school-record... pitched a complete-game two hitter against Cal State L.A. on March 6... gave up one earned run in a complete game against Sonoma State on May 1... earned the win against Cal Poly Pomona in an elimination game at the CCAA tournament.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2004: Started a team-high 14 games and notched four wins... tied for the team lead with four complete games... 1.58 walks per nine innings was tops among UCSD starting pitchers... earned two CCAA Pitcher of the Week honors.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2003: Notched a stellar 7-2 record with one save and a 3.05 ERA... pitched four complete games... named the 2003 CCAA Freshman of the Year... earned CCAA First-Team All-Conference and Third-Team All-West Region honors.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Cleveland HS in Reseda, Calif. where the baseball team won two division titles and the 2002 City Championship... individual honors included being named three-time all-league, two-time All-City and the 2002 City Player of the Year.

PERSONAL: Born May 5, 1984 in North Hollywood, Calif.... parents are Stephen Grubman and Marta Corella... has one sister, Emily... a Political Science major in Warren College... career goal is to become a Sports Agent... other interests include bowling and basketball.
