Triton Athletes' Council

The Triton Athletes' Council (TAC) is UC San Diego's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). TAC exists as a forum for student-athletes to present and discuss issues relevant to the quality of the athletic component of their collegiate experience at UC San Diego. TAC provides a voice for student-athletes, an ongoing dialogue with Athletics Department administration, engagement with campus and community service projects and stronger relationships among their peers who compete as members of UC San Diego's 23 intercollegiate teams.

TAC membership consists of two representatives from each of the 23 intercollegiate teams. Each TAC representative serves on 1 of 5 committees: Community Service, Fundraising, Publicity, Social, or Student-Athlete Development. On an annual basis the TAC membership elects Executive Board leaders to serve as President, Vice President and Committee Chairs.
