Selected by the Houston Astros in the 5th round and 160th overall in the 2020 MLB draft, making him the highest player ever drafted in the Division II era and second highest drafted in school history...Led Minor League Baseball in 2023 with 35 home runs with Triple-A Sugar Land Space Cowboys and set the club's single season RBI record (91) a season later...Called up on Aug. 16, 2024 and made his MLB debut on Aug. 17, 2024, batting eighth in the lineup for the Astros and playing third base...Went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run scored in the 6-1 victory against the Chicago White Sox...Knocked his first major league home run (451 ft) on July 2, 2025 at Colorado Rockies.

Made debut as starting shortstop in No. 7 position in batting order at Bourne (Mass.) (6/16), going 0-for-1 with a hit-by-pitch, two sacrifice flies, two RBI and a stolen base in 9-0 seven-inning win to open doubleheader, becoming second Triton in as many years to appear in CCBL after Ted Stuka ... First hit was two-out single to center in sixth inning of 9-5 loss vs. Yarmouth-Dennis (6/20) ... First home run accounted for lone run in 1-0 seven-inning home win vs. Wareham (6/23), off scoreboard in left to lead off third ... Participated in event at Fenway Park in Boston (6/27) featuring 60-yard dashes, infield/outfield and batting practice in front of more than 100 professional scouts ... Played in La Mirada for Southern California Catch of prestigious California Collegiate League (CCL) during 2017 summer ... Homered on back-to-back days to take over team lead at four, going 2-for-5 with a walk, double, two-run blast to left in fifth, three runs and three RBI in 13-6 win vs. Arroyo Seco Saints (7/20) to earn Catch's Co-Player of the Game, and then 1-for-2 with two walks, a solo shot, two runs and one RBI in 14-6 loss at Academy Barons (7/21) ...
