A San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic Team pick in 2010 and 2011 ... Hit .389 as a sophomore and .329 as a junior.

Father played at Santa Ana College and San Diego State and is now the head coach of the Vista HS varsity baseball team ... Has a younger brother named Evan ...
