High School: A 2009 graduate of Folsom High School in Folsom, Calf... competed for the Capital Crew Rowing Club and helped squad to a ninth-place finish in the 2009 lightweight men's youth rowing national championships.

Personal: Born March 28, 1991... parents are Gregory and Mary Friesen... has an older sister named Bianca... enjoys wakeboarding and snowboarding in his free time... a Mechanical Engineering major at Sixth College.
