AT UC SAN DIEGO: Earned the Heart & Hustle Award during freshman and sophomore years... competed from the Bow-seat on the Bronze Medal Varsity Four at the 2006 NCAA National Championships... finished 1^st at the Lightweight SD Indoor Rowing Championships as a junior... also helped team to silver medal of Varsity Four at the 2006 Pacific Coast Rowing Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Pioneer High School in San Jose, Calif...  captain of MVP Volleyball team... voted most athletic... helped CCSD softball team to 2^nd place... received a Scholar Athlete Award.

PERSONAL: Parents are Eric and Janey Hagquist... has a young brother named John... a European History and Political Science major with a minor in Education Studies... works as a shuttle bus driver... enjoys baking and cooking.
