COLLEGE OF THE CANYONS: Played two seasons at College of the Canyons before transferring to UCSD this fall… Averaged 15 points and nine rebounds for head coach Greg Herrick… Named to the All-California Community College Athletic Association Second Team… Also named the CCCAA’s Female Athlete of the Month in January 2009.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Palmdale High School, where she was a four-year letterwinner for the Falcons.

PERSONAL: Born January 8, 1989… Parents are Raymond and Dapheney Smith…  Has five siblings named Sundei, Hope, Temperance, Raymond, and Omega… Favorite athlete is Shaquille O’Neal and she roots for whichever team he is playing for… Loves the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall… Can be found drawing or reading in her spare time… Is a Psychology major at Muir College… Has plans to pursue a career as a counselor in the future.
