Biography

AS A JUNIOR IN 2009-10: Competed in nine events and played 23 rounds during his first season at UC San Diego... Tied for the low round of the season among Triton golfers with a final round of 4-under, 68 during the Grand Canyon Thunderbird Invitational, placing 13th overall individually in the event with a three-round total of 3-under, 213 on the 7,015 yard course and leading the Tritons to an eighth-place finish at the event... Recorded the low round of the day for UCSD during the opening round of the 60th Annual Southern California Intercollegiate Championship with a 5-over, 76, helping UCSD to a third-place standing after a team-opening round score of 310 at the Mission Viejo Country Club.

COLLEGE OF THE DESERT:
Played one year for coach Toni Manzoni… Led the squad to a conference championship and a regional finals appearance… Had a low round of 64… Also played in several amateur golf tournaments throughout the year.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School in Calgary, Alberta, Canada… Member of the Carnmoney Golf and Country Club Jr. program… A 2005 and 2007 Alberta Amateur qualifier.

PERSONAL: Born September 8, 187… Parents are Lori and Carmen Morris… Has an older sister named Naomi and an older brother named Justin… Roots for the Calgary Flames, San Diego Chargers, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, and Manchester United… Tiger Woods, Adam Scott, Steve Nash, and Lance Armstrong are a few of his personal heroes… Enjoys watching any movie with Will Ferrell or Seth Rogen… In addition to golf, his hobbies include playing basketball, surfing, working out, photography, or being with friends and family… Is an Economics major in Revelle College… Plans on becoming a professional golfer or owning his own business in the future.
