AS A JUNIOR IN 2007: Made appearances in a total of five events on the year, beginning with an impressive 9th place finish at the Point Loma Nazarene dual meet at 16:24.8... was the 5th Triton to cross the finish line and finished 44th overall at the UC Irvine Invitational with a time of 19:33.10... also finished 5th for UCSD and 55th overall at the Southern Stampede the following weekend with a mark of 18:57.00... clocked in at 24:19.4 at the Triton Classic, good enough for 36th overall and 6th on the squad... finished  41st overall and 10th among Tritons with a time of 23:12.10 at the CCAA Championships.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006: Raced in seven of eight events for the Tritons during the season... finished 10th with a time of 16:39.1 at the UCSD dual meet with Point Loma... had a time of 19:31.6 and a 34th place finish at the UC Irvine Invitational... was 72nd with a time of 24:41.5 during the Roy Griak Invitational... finished 39th at home during the Triton Classic with a time of 24:45.4... ran a time of 25:00.5 at home during the CCAA Championships, finishing 28th overall... was 48th overall with a time of 23:26.41 at the NCAA DII West Regionals... finished 126th with a time of 23:24.5 at the NCAA Championships.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005: Raced in three events for the Tritons during rookie campaign... finished 19th at the four-way meet on the UCSD campus on August 27, finishing the 2.5 mile par course in a time of 16:48.7... finished 83rd at the UC Irvine Invitational, finishing the 5k course in a time of 20:47.3... finished 68th at the UCSD Triton Cross Country Invitational with a time of 24:56.9 on the 6k par course on the La Jolla campus.

HIGH SCHOOL: Comes to UCSD from Capistrano Valley High School in Mission Viejo, Calif.... helped team to the CIF Finals in 2004... had personal bests of 17:58 in the 5k, 5:12 in the 1600m and 11:32 in the 3200m.

PERSONAL: Born January 28, 1987... parents are Robert and Susan Strouse... has an older sister named Theresa... is a Political Science and Psychology double major in Thurgood Marshall College... wants to go to law school after she graduates from UCSD... when she’s not running she enjoys playing soccer and listening to music.
