Graduated in May of 2011 from Chettinad Vidyashram in Chennai, India ... Earned Most Outstanding Achiever and the Young Achiever's Award for three consecutive years ... Received National Bronze in 2006, 2007, and 2009 ... Won National Silver in 2007 and 2009 and took gold in the U18 age bracket in 2010 ... Also competed in swimming, basketball and track and field ... Has rowed for the Madras Boat Club since June 2003.
