As a Junior in 2009: Contributed another strong year on the mound as a junior, posting a 3-3 record with an ERA of 4.08... Started 13 games while recording relief appearances in seven other contests... Totaled 60 innings pitched while allowing 80 hits and striking out 25 batters... Threw a complete game in her first start of the year, a 2-1 win against Cal State San Bernardino... Ended the season with eight innings of scoreless ball across four appearances.

As a Sophomore in 2008:  Made 18 appearances in the circle, compiling a 5-4 record with a 3.23 ERA... Recorded a save in the 5-3 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on February 23, allowing just one hit in two innings of scoreless relief... Held Charminade to one run, while striking out four in a complete game win on March 28.

As a Freshman in 2007:  Toed the rubber in nine games, getting the start on four occasions... Posted a record of 1-1  with a 4.89 ERA... Tossed a complete game, allowing just two runs on seven hits in the 11-2 win over St. Martin's on March 30... Struck out three batters in 24.1 innings of work in the circle.

High School:  A 2006 graduate of Windsor High School in Windsor, Calif... Lettered in both soccer and softball... Helped soccer team to three CIF playoff berths and guided softball to one... Played for the Thunder Traveling Softball Club for three years and for the Rug Rats Traveling Softball Club for two... Was an all-tourney selection at the tournament in Chico in 2005... Helped team to three first place finishes.

Personal:  Born March 14, 1988... Parents are Joe and Nancy Zankich... Has two older sisters named Danielle and Heather... Is a Sociology major and Education Studies minor at Warren College... Enjoys hanging out with her friends, going to the beach, watching movies and listening to music in her free time... Favorite pro sports teams are the San Francisco Giants and San Francisco 49ers... Favorite athlete is Tim Lincecum... Aspires to get a graduate degree in Education and a career in social work.
