We are previewing the UC San Diego women's basketball season with head coach Heidi VanDerveer on episode 136 of Tritoncast before the new season gets underway next week. She talks about the target on the team's back on the heels of two consecutive Big West championships and explains how the team develops culture each season.

As always, host Jeff Tourial takes us around campus for the latest in Triton Athletics. Women's volleyball had a Big West award-winner following the weekend's action and the men's and women's cross country teams get set for their Big West championship race Saturday in Riverside.
