LA JOLLA, Calif. – Episode 130 of
Tritoncast, the official podcast for UC San Diego Athletics, has dropped and is available to download or stream on every major podcast platform.
On this week's show, we sit down with West Coast Conference Commissioner Stu Jackson. You'll hear about the Tritons' move to the WCC, which takes place just one year from now. We'll chat about how his role has evolved with so much change in college athletics in recent years and hear his thoughts on the NCAA Tournament expansion to 76 teams. We'll get into his time at the Big East and working for David Stern at the NBA, and what it was like starting an NBA franchise north of the border. Stu also reflects on an all-star staff he assembled for a March Madness run when he was head coach at Wisconsin.
New episodes of Tritoncast premiere on Wednesdays and are available on the most popular podcasting apps, including Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Audible, iHeartRadio, Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, and Vurbl. In addition, each episode can be heard and downloaded on UCSDTritons.com.
