LA JOLLA, Calif. — UC San Diego men's soccer head coach Jon Pascale announced the team's 2026 schedule Wednesday, which features 17 regular season contests. The Tritons will play eight home matches at
Triton Soccer Stadium.
The schedule includes six Pac-12 conference matches. The Pac-12 and The Big West have a collaborative partnership that sees UC San Diego men's soccer competing in the Pac-12 this season as an affiliate member.
"We are very excited about our 2026 schedule," Pascale said ahead of his 19th season at UC San Diego. "We will test ourselves early in the year against some top programs in very challenging environments. Joining the Pac-12 with some of the other top Big West programs will add to the level of competition for our team. As usual, there will be no easy matches and each opponent will provide a unique challenge."
The Tritons open the season with a home match against Navy on Aug. 20. Their first Pac-12 match will also be at Triton Soccer Stadium when Cal Poly visits on Sept. 30.
After the season opener, the Tritons will play four of their next five matches on the road. Those four away contests will come in four different states. Up first is Houston Christian on Aug. 27, followed by Air Force on Aug. 30. The Tritons will then host future WCC foe Pacific on Sept. 5 before traveling to UNLV on Sept. 10 and Utah Tech on Sept. 13.
Two Big West schools will visit La Jolla for nonconference matches ahead of the Pac-12 opener. UC Irvine comes to town on Sept. 20, followed by Cal State Fullerton on Sept. 23.
The conference opener with Cal Poly is the first of four consecutive Pac-12 matches for the Tritons. They visit Gonzaga on Oct. 3 and UC Riverside on Oct. 7 before hosting Oregon State on Oct. 10.
The Pac-12 and Big West partnership includes three crossover matches between the conferences, which will count as nonconference contests. UC San Diego will have two of those matches on the road at Sacramento State on Oct. 14 and CSUN on Oct. 21, with the third coming at home on Oct. 17 against Cal State Bakersfield.
Two final Pac-12 contests will close out the regular season. The team's final home match is Oct. 24 against California Baptist. The Tritons then head across town to face San Diego State in the regular season finale on Oct. 31.
The top four teams in the conference standings will qualify for the Pac-12 Championship. Semifinal matches will be played on Nov. 7, with the final on Nov. 13 or 14. Those contests will be on the campus of the higher seed in each match.
Men's soccer season tickets are $50 for adults and $40 for youth, seniors, faculty and staff.
Triton Box Office will begin selling season tickets on June 15, followed by single match tickets on July 27. Current UC San Diego students with valid ID will continue to receive free admission.
