LA JOLLA, Calif. — Twelve UC San Diego scholar-athletes have been recognized by College Sports Communicators (CSC) as the organization announced its Academic All-District At-Large selections Tuesday.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the classroom and competition. The honor is part of the CSC Academic All-America® program, which separately recognizes honorees in five divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA and the College Division — for each gender.

The At-Large designation includes awardees from 23 NCAA sports. Of those, UC San Diego sponsors men's/women's fencing, men's golf, women's rowing, men's volleyball and men's/women's water polo.

To be eligible, scholar-athletes must hold a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and meet sport-specific participation minimums. Freshmen are not eligible for consideration.

The 20225-26 Triton honorees include five fencers, one rower and two players each from men's volleyball, men's water polo and women's water polo. Four Tritons are repeat Academic All-District selections:
Zara Fearns (women's fencing),
Jim Garrison (men's volleyball),
Jacob Levy (men's fencing) and
Sofia Munatones (women's water polo).

- Had 32 assists, the most on the team and the eighth-most in The Big West
- Led the team and ranked fifth in The Big West with 17 sprint wins
