CHULA VISTA, Calif. — The UC San Diego women's rowing team hosted its annual Triton Invitational this past weekend.

The event ran Saturday and Sunday at the Elite Athlete Training Center in Chula Vista.

The racing took place on the Lower Otay Reservoir, a premiere rowing destination and home to the Olympic Training Center rowing site.

Joining the Tritons on the water were Gonzaga, Portland, Sacramento State, Saint Mary's, and the University of San Diego. 

UC San Diego sent out Varsity 8, Second Varsity 8, Varsity 4, Second Varsity 4, and Third Varsity 4 boats.

Sunday, the seven senior Tritons - Breezy Kash, Jacqueline Byun, Sierra Deluca, Deanna Balsbaugh, Reagan Dryden, Kiera Cooper, and Ciara Auran - were celebrated.
